Campfire Food Line-Up

Campfire Gathering will feature a wide variety of food and beverage options with an emphasis on Texas-inspired dishes and classic camp favorites. Featuring a menu designed by the resort’s very own Executive Chef Joe Gentempo, we will offer delectable passed bites, mouthwatering grill options, tasty late-night snacks, and more—all of which will be complimentary to attendees throughout the event.

Monday, March 16th – Day 1

To kick off Day 1 of Campfire Gathering on Monday evening, attendees will be greeted with a special wine tasting from Ron Yates Wine, a sister winery to the award-winning Spicewood Vineyards and recently named as Tasting Table’s “Best New Wineries in the US.”

Tuesday, March 17th – Day 2

Tuna & avocado mini tacos

Late-night snacks:

Sweet corn griddle cakes

Day 1 Monday Evening:

You are invited to attend a Founder’s Dinner at Tillie’s - a gourmet, four-course, seated dinner offering a menu curated by Chef Gentempo and the culinary team from Tillie’s.

Day 2 Tuesday Morning:

A special Brunch & Jam menu will be available including:

Surprise sets from performing music artists

Omelet bar

Breakfast taco bar

Yogurt, berry, and granola bar

Drink offerings, including a juice and coffee bar

Wednesday Morning:

Overnight guests will have the option to attend a themed Gospel Brunch featuring a special performance from Texas-based gospel and soul outfit The New Soul Invaders.

Chef Joe Gentempo .

Chef Joe Gentempo comes to the Whim family with over 20 years of experience in the industry with 10 of those years as an Executive Chef. Most recently, Chef Joe has been opening a number of hotels for the Kempton Hotel / InterContinental Hotel brand. In just a little over three years, Chef Joe has opened the Kimpton Rowan Hotel in Palm Springs, the new flagship Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta, and the Kimpton Overland Hotel next to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. Chef Joe’s experience hasn’t all been hotels though, he has run a number of restaurants around the nation with one being our local Trattoria Lisina where he worked with our favorite Sommelier, Clint Carter.
